Samuelwas on "death row" in the dog pound. A photograph of him was e-mailedto us on Wednesday melted our hearts, Thursday 23rd would have been his"destruction day". He looked pitiful, so thin and covered in sores. Howcould anyone refuse him shelter. He came to Holly Hedge scratching athis bleeding, broken skin for all he was worth, he was so itchy anduncomfortable. Samuel was immediately given a malaseb bath and his taildidn't stop wagging as it must have been so soothing for him. A visitto the vet for a steroid jab and antibiotics, and he is looking andfeeling so much better.
