HP iPAQ Glisten--So, HP, are you trying to say this phone shines? It
doesn't seem any shinier than any other cell phone, and it certainly
doesn't glisten. Also, a product name should not be a verb. It's
unnatural 
#2. Samsung  SGH-T359
Samsung
SGH-T359--This one makes us want to turn that smiley upside down. Now
we're naming electronics after emoticons? How modern and clever. No 
#3. Casio G'zOne Ravine
Casio G'zOne Ravine--This isn't the first G'zOne handset from Casio.
And that part of the name is curious enough: What's a G'zOne? Then
throw in 'Ravine,' which is defined as 'a small narrow steep-sided
valley that is larger than a gully and smaller than a canyon and that
is usually worn by running water.' Seriously Casio? Since it's rugged,
it would survive being thrown in a ravine? At least 'G'zOne Gully' has
the alliteration thing going for it. 
#4. Motorola Flipout
Motorola Flipout--Motorola we get it. The phone's screen, well, flips
out. But the first thing we think of when we hear about flipping out is
having a very vocal breakdown in a very public place. 
#5. Microsoft Kin One (and Kin Two)
Microsoft Kin One (and Kin Two)--This pair of phones should star in a
Dr. Seuss book. Oh wait, they were only around for a couple of months
before Microsoft killed the Kins. RIP Thing One and Thing Two, er, Kin
One and Kin Two.  #6. Motorola Devour
Motorola Devour--Hungry? Chow down on a burger. Don't devour your phone. And again, a phone name shouldn't be a verb 
#7. Motorola Citrus
Motorola Citrus--When life gave Motorola lemons, they made a phone 
#8. LG Chocolate Touch VX8575
LG Chocolate Touch VX8575--Hey phone manufacturers, what's with the
food fixation? No matter what you call it, we're not going to devour
our citrus or chocolate phones. And the Chocolate Touch? That just
sounds really messy. 
#9. Pantech Jest
Pantech Jest--Surely you jest, Pantech. The first line of the review: 'Here's a bad joke that's best left untold.' Enough said 
#10. Samsung Mythic SGH-a897
Samsung Mythic SGH-a897--A phone that evokes images of unicorns and pegasuses. (Or is it pegusi?) Swell.  #11. Samsung Gusto SCH-U360
Samsung Gusto SCH-U360--Gusto, while a positive word, just sounds
funny, especially when you're using it to describe your phone. Also, it
sounds windy. 
#12. Kyocera X-tc
Kyocera X-tc--A handset that shares a name with an 80s New Wave band,
or if you prefer, a party drug. Our senses are working overtime on this
one 
#13. Motorola Rambler
Motorola Rambler--We just can't help but picture this cute little flip
phone in a cowboy hat and chaps. Maybe some snakeskin boots with spurs? 
#14. Motorola Karma QA1
Motorola Karma QA1--Oddly enough, Motorola isn't the first one to name
a gadget after the Buddhist religious concept. Remember Rio? The
pioneering MP3 player makers released the Rio Karma back in 2004. Silly
